Urban Ruins Projects NPO and The Humanity Foundation celebrate women

The event was made possible through the generous support of The Humanity Foundation, which ensured the women were pampered and appreciated throughout the day.

Urban Ruins Projects NPO marked a momentous occasion on August 31, celebrating the strength and resilience of women in the community.

The generous support of The Humanity Foundation made possible the event, which ensured that the women were pampered and appreciated throughout the day.

Clayton Viljoen, the founder of Urban Ruins, said they selected 10 remarkable women to speak at the event.

“Each woman reflected on her personal journeys, discussing the challenges they faced, including health issues, drug abuse and difficult marriages.

“Their stories were not just tales of hardship; they were powerful narratives of triumph and transformation.”

Viljoen described the atmosphere as one of empowerment, with each speaker celebrating her progress and the steps taken toward a brighter future.

“The event served as a vital platform for these women to inspire others, showcasing their resilience to overcome life’s obstacles.

“The support from The Humanity Foundation was instrumental in creating a nurturing environment, allowing the women to feel valued and celebrated.”

Viljoen said by offering opportunities to share experiences and celebrate achievements, they highlight the importance of solidarity and support among women.
