Mathulana Foundation celebrates Women’s Day

The celebration included various activities designed to honour women, including speeches, performances, and moments of reflection.

Mathulana Foundation celebrated Women’s Day at the Revelation of Christ Apostolic Mission Church in Windmill Park, emphasising the theme ‘Woman of Valour’, on August 10.

The event was hosted by Lady Apostle Dorris Buthelezi, a notable member of Gugothandayo FC, who welcomed attendees with warmth and enthusiasm.

According to Mbuso Magwaza, the foundation’s founder, the celebration was an acknowledgement of the strength, resilience, and contributions of women within the community.

“The theme resonated deeply with the attendees, underlining the importance of recognising and empowering women in all spheres of life.”

The foundation expressed gratitude for the support from the church.

“This collaboration not only cultivates community spirit but also strengthens the bonds between the foundation and the church.”

Magwaza said Buthelezi’s leadership and commitment to uplifting women were evident throughout the event.

“Her dedication to the church and the community has inspired many, making her an exemplary figure in the movement toward gender equality and empowerment.”
