Ekon Kai Karate Club, based in Ramaphosa, put on a stellar performance at the IKO Matsushima Tournament at the Orlando Communal Hall in Soweto, recently.
The karateka made a significant impact at the tournament, securing impressive placements:
• 1st: Thato Mohlomi.
• 3rd: Hlelo Maqinana.
Shihan Moeti Holomo, founder of Ekon Kai Karate, expressed immense pride in his students’ accomplishments.
“Our fighters have shown remarkable dedication and discipline. Their success at the IKO Matsushima Tournament proves their hard work and the inclusive spirit of karate,” said Holomo.
The next IKO Matsushima event is scheduled for August 10, at the Vosloorus Civic Centre.
