Dawn Park SAPS, together with other stakeholders, worked tirelessly over the weekend, from July 5 to 9, resulting in the arrest of 28 suspects for various crimes.
Spokesperson of the station Sergeant Nkemeleng Mabula said suspects were arrested for possession of drugs, dealing in dagga, possession of drugs, attempted murder and malicious injury to property.
Contravention of the Liquor Act, attempted murder and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Public indecency, drunk driving, common assault under domestic violence, selling liquor without a licence, and child negligence.
Station commander Lieutenant Colonel Sibushi Makgakga applauded all the members for their excellent work and teamwork, ensuring the successful operation.
All suspects are set to appear at the Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court soon.
