The Reiger Park police conducted operations on May 1 and 2 in Reiger Park and Ramaphosa informal settlement:
Illegal shebeens
During an operation on May 1 near Elsburg Road in Ramaphosa, police arrested three men for operating shebeens without liquor licences.
Spokesperson for the station Constable Johannes Msimanga emphasised the importance of adhering to legal requirements for liquor trading to avoid facing consequences.
Drug possession
On May 1, four people were arrested for the possession of drugs and on May 2, a further two arrests were made.
Drunk driving
Two men were nabbed on May 2.
