“I thank the students from the bottom of my heart for all their hard work and effort they put into this grading."

The Lotus Karate Club chief instructor Raveen Dayaram expressed his happiness after five of his students passed their grading in Alberton on April 20.

The sensei said this achievement allowed the students to move a level up and it signified their growth and development.

“I thank the students from the bottom of my heart for all their hard work and effort they put into this grading. It was a lot of work from our karateka and they did it extremely well,” Dayaram said.

Kiana Soobramoney graded to yellow belt, Katlego Mpya and Zaniqua Joyce to orange while Kristhi Singh and Medha Singh earned their blue belts.

Dayaram encouraged the karatekas to continue working hard.
