Atlasville Dojo rewards excellence

Entry is free of charge, but participants members pay R200 for entry.

The New World Shotokan (NWS) Dojo in Atlasville recently awarded its karateka for their exceptional performance during the course of last year.

During the event, held at 85 Reier Road in Atlasville, karateka received trophies and medals.
According to the NWS instructor, sensei Takis Chaniotakos, the annual event is aimed at showing support and care for its members.

“I believe in rewarding, it feels good to see one’s efforts being recognised. The extracurricular activities can be an advantage for school admission purposes,” said Chaniotakos.
The NWS Dojo will be participating in the annual Inter-Regional Club Championships, which will kick off on April 13. In this competition, four Gauteng NWS clubs will be competing against four Mpumalanga NWS clubs.

Entry is free of charge, but participants members pay R200 for entry.
