Benoni Indians players to represent Gauteng at NBC

The Benoni Northerns Indians Baseball Club confirmed the selection of several of its players to represent Gauteng at the National Baseball Championships (NBC) from March 21 to 26 in Gqeberha.

Nine U10, 15 U12, 11 U15 and 10 U18 players, and four U15 girls, will earn their provincial colours battling for the province in the champs at Londt Park Tigers Baseball Club.

“We extend heartfelt congratulations to all the players selected and our gratitude to the coaches and support staff who contributed to their success.

“The teams will proudly represent Gauteng Province Baseball at the NBC tournament, showcasing the skill and dedication of local players,” said Benoni Indians Juniors chairperson Clifford White.

In addition to the junior teams, Gauteng will also enter two senior teams in the tournament. This squad has not yet been announced.
