Join city’s fun walk against GBV
Residents are invited to bring their family and friends to do the walk
Ekurhuleni Mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana will lead a 5km walk/run on November 25 as a symbolic stand to join the world in observing the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign.
The mayor encourages the public, including the media, to participate to show their commitment to fighting against the abuse of women and children.
The 5km and 10km fun walks/runs will take place at the OR Tambo Government Precinct, corner Queen and Cross streets in Germiston, from 08:30. Registration will be between 07:00 and 08:00.
Residents are invited to bring their family and friends to do the walk. It’s free of charge.
