Strumpher Kluyts: I won’t be celebrating Mandela Day. I don’t believe the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund money goes where it’s supposed to. Mandela wouldn’t be proud of the country at all.
Bianca Pelser: No, because it is something you shouldn’t celebrate only once a year. I don’t think Mandela would be proud of South Africa. I’m not proud of our country.
Fortune Hadebe: I’m not very politically inclined, so I won’t be celebrating Mandela Day. Mandela probably would be proud of South Africa because his party is still in charge.
Tony Mfune: I’m going to celebrate Nelson Mandela by talking about his legacy. He would be proud of South Africa because the country has progressed.
Balushi Sekele: I’m celebrating Mandela Month because my workplace will be donating sanitary pads to underprivileged people. Mandela would be proud. There is still room for improvement, but there has been progress.
