Looking for a place to donate blood? We got you

The South African Blood Services needs your help to alleviate its rapidly declining blood stocks.

The South African Blood Services (SANBS) calls on active South African donors and those who qualify to help alleviate their rapidly declining blood stocks.

People can donate at the following places at these times and on these dates:
June 15

SPAR Witfield Square, 11:00 to 16:00.

June 16
East Rand Mall, 09:00 to 15:00.

June 17 & 18
East Rand Mall 09:00 to 15:00.

To become a blood donor, you must:
• be aged between 16 and 75;
• weigh 50kg or more;
• be in good health;
• lead a healthy lifestyle; and
• consider your blood safe for transfusion to a patient.

Once you have donated, you may only donate again every 56 days.
