Child welfare grateful for car donation

The organisation’s acting director, Nompumelelo Gidela, cried tears of joy during the handover and thanked the company for its generosity.

CeeBee Debt Management Services blessed the Boksburg Child Welfare with a Nissan Micra on September 15.

This comes after the company read an article in the Advertiser about the organisation appealing for a vehicle.

MD of CeeBee Douglas Brake and founding director Charleen Brake said they always believed in giving back to society.

“The day before reading the article we had a company vehicle become surplus to the requirement as the CMS who used it decided to go onto car allowance.”

The organisation operates in Boksburg, Vosloorus and Reiger Park.

“As parents and grandparents, children are very close to our heart. We have over the years sponsored many children’s school fees through CeeBee. We are sponsoring five children. We have for over 10 years sponsored a child at Jeppe Girls through the Ruth First Trust.”

Douglas explained they will also carry out the maintenance and servicing of the car.
