A young model pleading for votes to be Miss Boksburg Junior
She is dedicated to serve the young people in her community.
Finalist in the Miss Boksburg Junior, Kaydene Adams (9), is asking for votes.
Kaydene, who lives in Delmore Gardens, said she wants to win the pageant so she can help underprivileged people and inspire other young people in her neighbourhood.
“You can vote for me by SMSing HERO MJB11 to 47439. If I win the pageant I will make sure young people are taken care of.
“I have started making a difference in my area by feeding the hungry and am planning to initiate a sanitary pad drive after I win the contest,” she said.
“Many children come from disadvantaged families in our area, but I don’t want them to be discouraged by their circumstances. I want to be a symbol of hope and represent young people. Anyone can make a difference in others’ lives if given an opportunity.
“I have always dreamt of being a model, a dream inspired by my cousin, who is also a model. She took me to one of her pageants and from then I never looked back. I started to love modelling. I have decided to take modelling as a career and I’m definitely going to be Miss South Africa or Universe in the future.
“I’m leading my competitors in terms of votes, but I need more people to vote for me, so I can seal the win. Votes won’t be going to waste as I’m going to be an active Miss Junior Boksburg, who helps solve our community’s problems,” said Adams.
