Have your say in crematorium emission application

The City of Ekurhuleni is applying for an atmospheric emission licence for a crematorium in Crystal Park.

The City of Ekurhuleni invites members of the public to comment on the process of applying for an atmospheric emission licence for a crematorium at number 13 Springs Road, Crystal Park, Benoni.

This is as per the requirements in terms of Section 36 (1) and 37 (1) of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, 2004 (Act No. 39 of 2004) (NEM: AQA).

To make representations on or to object to the application, or to participate in this process and to obtain further information, contact the city’s cemetery superintendent Mhlophekazi Ngcamu within 14 days of the publication of this notice.
