An Angelo informal settlement man died after he was shot in broad daylight on June 19.
According to the Boksburg SAPS, the deceased, identified as Tommy Masuku, was shot in the chest as he was walking along one of the settlement’s pathways leading to Main Reef Road at around 14:00.
“He was rushed to hospital where he reportedly died upon arrival. A murder case has been registered and investigations are ongoing,” said Boksburg SAPS station commander Col Matshedeso Mbele.
