The Winner Takes All Box and Dine Tournament at Emperors Palace’s Centre Court on June 11 certainly brought the action and was enjoyed by young and old.
Roarke Knapp produced a tenacious performance to beat Brandon Thysse and win the vacant ABU junior middleweight title. The two met in a revenge bout (Thysse won their first encounter with a knockout in 2019) with Knapp taking home the spoils on this occasion with a split points decision in a fight many pundits billed as one of the best ever seen at the Palace of Dreams.
While boxing fans attending the Winner Takes All Box and Dine Tournament Bill at Emperors Palace were treated to an epic night of action in the ring, boxing legend Tendai “Beast” Mtawarira caused quite a stir in the audience.
