Community development feeds children
As an NPO, Thusang Community Development helps underprevilaged children.
Thusang Community Development fed a total number of 200 children at Road Reserve Sandton informal settlement in Ramaphosa through a soup kitchen on May 14.
The soup kitchen started on March 5 and is held every Saturday. The community development goes around the informal settlement feeding children.
Lufuno Mudzuli, who serves as an adviser on community development, said the recent soup kitchen had more children than the previous ones.
“Some of the children depend on the school’s feeding scheme during the week and we are saying to those who are willing to help the community development with any donations that their effort will be helpful towards making sure that every child doesn’t sleep on an empty stomach,” said Mudzuli.
