Boksburg car dealership wins prestigious award

Shelby van Tonder from Boksburg Car Sales recently brought home a prestigious award in the Emerald Category at the 2021/2022 Lightstone Star Reacher F&I Awards.

Overall winners were announced at an elegant and exclusive prize-giving ceremony that took place at Monte De Dios in Pretoria on May 21.

Andries Pienaar, owner of Boksburg Car Sales, said he is very proud of all his loyal and hardworking staff.

“For the last 32 years Boksburg Car Sales has been operating as an independent second-hand car dealer. This award is a great honour and privilege. Thanks to all our loyal customers that have supported us over the years.”

Other top performers:
Stefanus Jonker, VW Menlyn, won in the Ruby Category.
Yvette Smit, CMH Nissan Midrand, won in the Amethyst Category.
Timothy Chowles, from Westvaal Mashishing, won in the Sapphire Category.
Amanda Steyl, from Middelburg Nissan, won in the Topaz Category.

The runner-ups are:
MP van Staden, from BB Polokwane Ford, won in the Ruby Category.
Yasmin Vadia, from CMH Nissan Midrand, won in the Amethyst Category.
Danel Botha, from BB Mount Fuji, won in the Sapphire Category.
Chantelle Nieman, from the McGee & Co Groblersdal, in the Emerald Category.
Lauren Erendsen, from the Jaguar Land Rover Stellenbosch, won in the Topaz Category.

The overall winners received holiday prizes to the value of R30 000 each and the runners-ups received experience-based prizes to the value of R8 000 each.

About the Lightstone Star Reacher F&I Awards
Lightstone Auto launched the Star Reacher F&I Awards in April 2021 to recognise and reward F&I managers in the auto industry. This first-of-its-kind incentive programme is available exclusively to Lightstone users and clients through their bespoke Signio platform.

The programme measures F&I managers’ performance across five key focus areas that encourage industry excellence and drive digital adoption in the industry.

Every quarter winners in each category are awarded prizes and this culminates in an annual award ceremony where overall performance over the 12-month period is recognised.
