Siyabonga Africa launches School of Fashion

They have been working on the School of Fashion for over two years.

Siyabonga Africa recently celebrated the launch of their new School of Fashion.

The purpose of Siyabonga Africa is to reduce poverty and contribute to its elimination in South Africa.

They have several programmes aimed at achieving that purpose, and the School of Fashion is their latest addition.
Siyabonga Africa recently joined with Rethink Fashion Incubator and has been working on the School of Fashion for over two years.

Rethink Fashion Incubator is a fashion school based in Boksburg.

They focus on educating uneducated and illiterate students to make it in the fashion industry.

At the celebration, the CEO of Siyabonga Africa Sarah Jane Brink provided an overview of the organisation and what it does to help others.

“Our dream and vision is a world without fear, worries and poverty. We want to free the people in this country from poverty,” Brink said.

Throughout the celebration, several students from Rethink Fashion Incubator had a chance to give information on how this fashion school has changed their lives.

The director, Faith Mtshali said that these students evolve every day and that they will not sell products less than perfect.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony concluded the event and declared the official opening of the School of Fashion.

Students also had the opportunity to exhibit their designs.
