WIN a trolley load of Groceries

According to store owner Antoni Rangousis, the main objective of the event is to bring fun to their customers, and help those in need in our local community.

Pick and Pay Towers will once again make a difference in the community, this time with trolley dashes over the next few weeks that will benefit four different charities. This is the first time the store is doing trolley dashes. The first trolley dash took place on April 23 and the others will happen on April 30, May 7 and May 14, at the store at 10:00.

According to store owner Antoni Rangousis, the main objective of the event is to bring fun to their customers, and help those in need in our local community. He explained that anybody can enter the trolley dash by handing in a till slip throughout the week. In a lucky draw (on the dates above), one customer will be selected to take part in the trolley dash. That person will grab as many items as they can in one minute. As part of the store’s commitment to assist the community, the store will then donate a voucher to the same value as the items the lucky customer managed to get into their trolley. “Pick and Pay is part of the Boksburg community and we assist where we can. So, if we can help local charity organisations, all the better,” said Rangousis. He urged residents, friends and family to come out in their numbers to support the trolley dashes.

The charity organisations that will benefit from the trolley dashes are Boksburg SPCA, Boksburg Child Welfare, Cosmos Old Age Home and Home-Start. The organisations were decided on by the Advertiser and Pick n Pay Towers. Pick and Pay Towers has been in operation for 27 years and was one of the first franchises in South Africa. “Offering the best service to our customers is of utmost importance to us,” Rangousis said
