Boksburg residents are warned to brace themselves for almost day-long power outages scheduled for April 10 and 11 due to network upgrades.
The planned power utility maintenance will see the affected areas without power from 08:00 to 16:00, and residents are advised to treat all electrical networks as live at all times.
Areas that will be affected on Sunday include Lilianton and other parts of Witfield, Berton Park, Delmore Park, Delmore Gardens, Acton, Balmoral College and Delmore Hostel.
The City’s energy department will again on Monday perform scheduled substation maintenance work at the Angelo Substation, which supplies power to Comet industrial area. This will see the area left without power from 08:00 to 16:00.
