Local model a Miss East Rand finalist
The pageant aims to empower the youth by giving them a platform to bring substantial change and become charity ambassadors in their communities and beyond.
Boksburg South resident Angel Pieterse is hoping to become the next Miss East Rand.
The 21-year-old student said she is honoured to be a finalist.
“My passion is to work with young people who lost hope, young people who have been hurt and young people who feel like they are not good enough.
“I would like to start a youth club for not only broken young people but also young people who will be able to motivate and encourage others. I want the youth to find themselves and use their talents wisely,” said Pieterse.
