Fingerprint technology revealed the deceased person has no fingerprints on record.

Police are seeking the assistance of the public to identify the body of a man found on the side of the road in Commissioner Street (near Leeuwpoort Street) in the Boksburg CBD.

According to Boksburg SAPS spokesperson Sgt Ntsako Ledwaba, someone alerted the police after the man’s body was spotted on the roadside during the night of November 15, 2021.
On their arrival, they found the body of the man, believed to be above 35 years old, lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds to his upper body.

The deceased is an African male and was dressed in a navy blue pair of jeans with no shoes on.

“Various attempts were made to identify the deceased but with no success. These included using fingerprint technology, which subsequently revealed that the person has no fingerprints on record,” said Ledwaba.
