Paramedics found the man lying in the middle of the road near his motorbike.

A man was left critically injured when he was knocked off his motorbike in a hit-and-run at the Elisabeth and Ridge intersection in Boksburg on October 31.

ER24 arrived after 21:00 to find a man lying in the middle of the road near his motorbike. The vehicle that had struck the man was not found on the scene.

Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained several injuries and was in a critical condition.
The man was treated and provided with advanced life-support interventions before being transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital for urgent care.
Local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
