NPO based in Windmill Park Khayalabantwana is calling on committed members of the public to join their committee.

Khayalabantwana is a drop-in centre that caters for orphaned, neglected, destitute and vulnerable children. They provide psychological and nutritional support.

The centre is seeking to appoint five new board members, including the chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary, deputy secretary and treasurer. Additional members are also welcomed.

Take note, these positions are unpaid voluntary positions. However, an execution-of-duties fee will be paid.
Candidates need to have the following attributes:
• Commitment: the candidate needs to be committed to the goal and objectives of the centre.
• Willingness to act: the candidate needs to be willing to act as an ambassador for the centre.
• Willingness to fulfil: the candidate needs to fulfil the duties and standards of conduct required by the organisation.
• Understanding: the candidate needs to understand equalities and diversity issues.
