Support fund-raiser for little Mia

The main aim of the event is to raise money for the girl’s second fat-grafting operation.

Members of the public are invited to support a fund-raiser event for Freeway Park’s Mia Nordeje (6), who has a craniofacial deformity, at Barnyard Emperors Palace on November 13 at 13:00.

Attendees can look forward to an Abba & Queen Tribute show. Tickets cost R220.
The main aim of the event is to raise money for the girl’s second fat-grafting operation.

Nordeje was born without cheekbones and has no proper structure under her eyes to protect them. She had to undergo a fat-grafting operation in May because there was a risk that her lower eyelids could pop inside out and expose her eyes. Nordeje recovered well from the first operation. However, she will need to go for another fat-grafting operation.

Her parents, Dessri and Eddie, are now organising fund-raising initiatives to raise funds for the procedure.

If you wish to support the parents by buying tickets for the production at Barnyard, contact Estelle on 082 790 4781.
The family also started a Back a Buddy page for the girl (https://www.backabuddy.co.za/champion/project/mia-nordeje).
