St Francis receives welcome donation

St Francis Care Centre is a registered NPO, which caters to dozens of vulnerable children and adults, most of them suffering from threatening and/or life-limiting conditions.

St Francis Care Centre is grateful to Benedicts College’s learners, Troy (Grade Eight) and Rhett Zillen (Grade 10), for making a generous donation of baby products on July 6.

The youngsters donated big bags of nappies and baby formula for the babies at the centre.

Tilly Brouwer, the manager of the centre, said: “We would like to express our gratitude to the learners for showing care to our centre. We appreciate every effort you’re making through community service.

“It was a very welcome donation as there is always a need for baby products at St Francis.

“Also, thank you Kerry Leigh Zillen (the boys’ mother) for your exceptional guidance and encouraging Troy and Rhett to always keep up the spirit of community work.”
