A woman died after she was struck by a light motor vehicle on Rondebult Road, Boksburg on June 19.
According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, paramedics arrived at the scene at 20:38 and found the victim lying in the fast lane – while the light motor vehicle was a short distance away.
“Medics assessed the woman and found she had already succumbed to her numerous injuries. Nothing could be done for her. She was declared dead on the scene by paramedics,” explained Meiring.
The scene was handed over to local authorities for further investigations.
