More locals show interest in boot sale

May boot sale a success.

Locals showed a growing interest in the latest car boot sale held at the Bokkie Park as the Advertiser again joined in the fun with the Bokkie Park craft and food market on a chilly Saturday morning on May 1.

The Boksburg community as well as surrounding areas can expect a fun outing during the car boot sale days.

Delicious food and snacks are always in abundance while there are always good-for-value goods on offer, ranging from sports books, mugs, clothes, PlayStation Games, home accessories and more.

Alberton’s David Gilliland told the Advertiser that it gets better the longer you sell because the public gets to familiarise itself with your goods and they come back for more.
Villa Liza resident Martha Ntombela, who was selling good quality jeans affordably, added she saw the boot sale as a good opportunity for an outing.
Jarrod Oelofse, who sells a wide rand of books, said he enjoyed the good food, the nice people you get to meet and a lot of cheap stuff.
The next boot sale is scheduled for June 5.
