Six people were injured this morning (May 29) in a head-on collision on Heidelburg Road in Boksburg.
According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, the victims received treatment from paramedics on the scene before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
“Shortly after midnight, ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on the scene to find one car in the middle of the road while a second was found at the bottom of an embankment. Several people were seen walking around on the scene.
“Medics assessed the patients and found that six adults had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found,” explained Meiring.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
