Netcare Sunward Park Hospital staff vaccinated

South Africa secured the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine for use in the Sisonke (‘Together’) programme.

Chantal Scheepers, the infection control coordinator at Netcare Sunward Park Hospital is now vaccinated.

As part of the country’s Covid-19 vaccine rollout, a number of healthcare workers from Netcare Sunward Park Hospital have also received vaccinations.

The regional director of the North East Region for the Netcare Group said: “The vaccines have been administered over recent weeks at a number of sites as part of a collaboration between the public and private sectors to ensure our staff are protected,” he said.
