Spices 4 Africa honours Witfield Park’s frontline workers

To be able to roll out this initiative to all frontline workers in the greater East Rand area, Spices 4 Africa humbly requests the support of the communities in and around the East Rand in this immuno-booster drive

Spices 4 Africa recently donated 45 natural spice-based immuno-booster packs, consisting of ginger, turmeric and cinnamon powder, to healthcare workers at Witfield Park Retirement Village working at the forefront of the Covid-19 fight.

According to the owners of Spices 4 Africa, Reggie and Mandy Raman, they are donating the packs as it helps to boost people’s immune systems and natural spices have proven to be highly effective in combating the coronavirus.

“Spices 4 Africa, based in Kempton Park, finds itself in the unique position of being able to provide this simple yet highly effective solution to our frontline heroes as a gift of gratitude for selfless service when our community needs it most.

“To those fallen heroes who have succumbed to Covid-19, it is with deep sadness and much gratitude that we pay homage to them and their families. They may be gone, but they will never be forgotten. Spices 4 Africa can only hope and trust that their immuno-booster initiative will not only serve to protect the health of frontline workers but also spare their families any further trauma.

“Like most businesses, the Covid-19 economic strain is taking its toll on Spices 4 Africa. However, we still recognise the importance of honouring the frontline staff,” explained Mandy.

To be able to roll out this initiative to all frontline workers in the greater East Rand area, Spices 4 Africa humbly requests the support of the communities in and around the East Rand in this immuno-booster drive. Spices 4 Africa pledge to donate 10 per cent of every online purchase made at www.spices4africa.co.za

Alternatively, if you would like making a direct contribution towards this immuno-booster drive you can contact Mandy on 082 676 8089 and make arrangements to pay towards the spices and packaging needed to produce the packs.

“Covid-19 has taught us many lessons this past year. The greatest of which is the value of life and the power of what we can accomplish together. Spices 4 Africa, with the support of their surrounding communities, can certainly make a difference to many lives.”
