The Boksburg SPCA Christmas Cheer Fund is gaining momentum, all thanks to generous donors.
So far, about R8 360 has been raised.
This year, the SPCA is aiming to raise R100 000 with the Christmas Cheer Fund.
The Cheer Fund will be running until the end of January, so please continue to help raise much-needed funds for our four-legged friends at the Boksburg SPCA.
The aim of the Christmas Cheer Fund is to raise money to cater for all the furry friends that need to be fed and supported over the Christmas season.

In celebration of the Boksburg SPCA’s 70th birthday, the society has linked its target of R100 000 to four very important projects for the betterment of the society and the many animals they care for.
They are planning to buy a six-metre container for food storage (R35 000), a new security camera system (R15 000), complete the adoption row kennel refurbishment (R20 000) and do 70 outreach sterilisations (R31 500).
Individuals or companies who want to donate towards one of the projects listed above in celebration of their 70th birthday can email Sue Beadon at secretary@boksburgspca.co.za.
All donations qualify for a S18A tax certificate.
To donate to the cheer fund, you can visit the society’s premises at Railway Street, Boksburg, or deposit the donation into the bank account: Boksburg SPCA, Absa Bank, branch code 632005, account number 4046388139.
Beneficiary reference: Christmas Cheer and your name/anonymous. It’s important to state that the payment is for the Christmas Cheer Fund.
