Makopano donates water to East Village Estate

It is not the first time that the security company donated water to East Village Estate

Makopano Risk Solutions recently donated approximately 48 000 litres of water for the dam in East Village Estate, situated in Sunward Park.

East Village has a park area with a dam for ducks, geese and swans.

“The dam is not very deep, but in normal rain fall it holds enough water for the animals through the winter months. However, soaring temperatures and the lack of rain is causing the dam to dry up.

“To assist the animals we put small baths in the dam and filled them with water as an interim measure,” explained Danie Marx, director of the East Village Residents’ Association.

He expressed his gratitude towards Makopano for making the donation.

“From East Village we would like to express our sincere thanks and acknowledge all who helped to make this donation possible.

Furthermore, JJ Venter, CEO of Makopano thanked Michael Page from Kiron Pty Ltd for assisting with the donation.

Danie said community members who would like to donate water may contact him on 082 905 4677.
