Community members welcome to attend Child Welfare AGM

The objectives of Child Welfare are to protect children from all kinds of abuse and establish networks and partnerships to ensure the safeguarding of children

The Boksburg Child Welfare will be holding an AGM on December 5 at 2pm at the Vosloorus Social Service office hall, situated at the corner of Mokhele and Tsoke streets.

According to the director of the local Child Welfare, Vanessa Naidoo-Pillay, the NPO will provide a holistic report to the community and stakeholders on the services rendered, successes, challenges and financial reporting for April 2019 until March.

“The community of Boksburg is encouraged to join the executive board of management and staff in presentation of the organisation’s performance for the term. Community members and leaders who have an invested interest in the organisation are urged to join the membership of the organisation.

“We would appreciate the community’s involvement, as Boksburg Child Welfare is a community-based organisation rendering services directly to the community,” Vanessa said.

All Covid -19 protocols will be adhered to.
