Exciting colouring competition in support of rhino conservation

The organisation is holding a colouring competition to shine a light on rhino conservation

In order to commemorate Rhino Awareness Month, which is celebrated in September, Insimbi Legacy Projects will be holding an online colouring in and art competition in collaboration with Divine Be Gracious.

The idea of a competition was conceived by the ambassador of the Insimbi Legacy Projects and local businesswoman Sharon Janse van Rensburg, who was dismayed at the lack of knowledge of rhinos the children displayed at their fund-raising event last year.

Entry fees are R50.

To enter, simply purchase the colouring in pages on the organisation’s website (https://insimbilegacyprojects.co.za/product-category/coloring-competition/) and send the completed picture to sharon@insimbilegacyprojects.co.za before the end of October.

Winners of each age group will receive a certificate of achievement and a hamper worth R450. Winning pictures will also feature on Insimbi’s desktop calendar.

All proceeds will go directly towards protecting and feeding the organisation’s rhino.
Carmela Lattanzi started the project to involve the public in the fight against poaching after one of her widely admired rhinos, Insimbi, was killed in 2014.
