A driver was injured on September 6 after being involved in a rollover that left the vehicle he was driving resting on its side on the embankment.
At about 11pm, emergency personnel from Netcare 911 and Gau-Med EMS responded to reports of a collision on Trichardts Road in Parkrand Boksburg.
According to Netcare spokesperson Shawn Herbst, a preliminary investigation into the incident has revealed that the driver of a light delivery vehicle, an adult male, lost control of his vehicle resulting in a rollover.
The patient was treated on scene by Netcare 911 and Gau-Med EMS.
“Due to the nature of his injuries a Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift the patient to hospital for further treatment,” said Herbst.
