Hospice East Rand Freeway Park charity shop moves to bigger store

There are furniture, clothing, ornaments, books, CDs, toys, electrical items and other bargains available at the new store

The Hospice East Rand charity in Freeway Park shop has moved into bigger premises within the same centre, which will now enable them to sell larger items, like furniture.

The shop is situated in the Outspan Shopping Centre, on the corner of Kingfisher and Constantia roads, Freeway Park.

Claudette du Plessis, manager of the shop, explained they are delighted about the move.
“We are truly grateful that we could move into a new premises because we needed the extra space,” du Plessis said.

She explained there are also clothing, ornaments, books, CDs, electrical items and other bargains available at the store.

“Members of the public are also welcome to support the shop by donating their unwanted goods. We are in need of baby clothing and electronic appliances. No contribution is too small,” she added.

She highlighted that they rely on donations.
“The shop is doing well and we would like to thank everybody who supported us. It is much appreciated,” she pointed out.

The shop is open from 9am to 4pm on weekdays and from 9am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.

The Hospice charity shops bring in a large percentage of the funds that help the organisation take care of its patients.
