Beyers Park law firm gives back on Teddy Bear Day
Teddy bears can be dropped off at 11 Hugenoot Street during the month of September
Bavin Incorporated Attorneys, situated in Beyers Park, is doing a teddy bear drive in honour of National Teddy Bear Day, which is celebrated on September 9.
Donné Engelbrecht, attorney, notary and conveyancer at Bavin Inc, said the drive is in aid of the Teddy Bear Foundation.
Engelbrecht explained the foundation provides a service for children who have been abused. Their services include medical exams, forensic assessment, therapy and court preparation for the children and their families.
She said members of the public are welcome to drop teddy bears off at Bavin Inc.’s office, situated at 11 Hugenoot Street, during September.
“Alternatively, we are willing to collect donations within a radius of 5km to 10km from the office.
“People can also deposit money into the company’s trust account and we will either buy teddy bears or donate the funds to the foundation,” she explained.
