One person fatally injured in collision on Paul Smith Road

Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said the incident happened at around 8.58pm and reports from the scene indicate that two cars and a truck were involved in a collision. “When medics assessed the scene, they found the truck had gone through a boundry wall and was well alight,” Herbst said.One person from the vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on the scene. ?Another patient sustained serious injuries and was treated on scene by advanced life support paramedics, while two other patients had sustained moderate injuries. “Once stabilised, all the patients were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment, “he added.
