Help children in Kuselo’s care

Kuselo is a service provider for abused and neglected children who are removed from their homes through statutory processes

Kuselo Child and Youth Care Services is in need of the community’s support to continue with their good work.

The NPO, situated in Boksburg North, temporarily provides a stable home for babies and young children.

Kuselo is a service provider for abused and neglected children who are removed from their homes through statutory processes such as the welfare/SAPS while the investigation is pending for a period of 90 days.

Thereafter, the child will be placed into a foster care system or with a respective care system if qualified and screened through the welfare and approved by the courts.

Amanda Coetzee, the founder of Kuselo, said that they are urgently in need of donations for the safe house as the Covid-19 pandemic had a dire impact on the organisation.

“Any donations such as food, clothing, stationery, nappies, wet wipes and blankets are welcome and will be appreciated. No contribution is too small,” said Coetzee.

Anybody who would like to make a contribution may contact Amanda on 072 512 7227.
