Another Boksburg clinic closed due to Covid-19 related case

Patients who receive medication for chronic diseases can, however, collect their medication, which will only be handed to them outside the facility.

The Advertiser understands that a Covid-19 related case has forced closure of the Reiger Park Clinic, and the health centre is likely to remain closed until next week Monday.

Although details about what caused the closure are still sketchy, an employee at the clinic told the Advertiser that the centre has been temporarily closed following a Covid-19 related case among its frontline staff.

The employee added that following the closure, the clinic was disinfected and will remain closed until July 20. However, patients who receive medication for chronic diseases can collect their medication, which will only be handed to patients outside the facility.

This publication is still waiting for comment from the municipality and the story will be updated as details emerge.
