Dawn Park CSC closed but services continue amid Covid-19 case

More than 10 officers have tested positive for the virus, according to the source.

The Dawn Park SAPS Client Service Centre (CSC) has been temporarily closed after officers tested positive for Covid-19.

Although the centre’s doors were closed today (July 3) for decontamination, services at the police station are still continuing as normal.

The Advertiser visited the police station on June 3 around noon and found that affidavits and other services were being done in the station’s boardroom.

Decontamination of the CSC, parade room and the toilets where being carried out.

According to a reliable source at the station, the CSC will reopen by 10am tonight after precautionary measures have been concluded.

By the time of going to press, we had not managed to get a comment from the provincial SAPS spokesperson.
