Anonymous donor revamps Boksburg SPCA clinic

The SPCA cheer fund money which was supposed to be used for revamping the clinic will go towards the animal operation theatre and fixing some of the kennels

Christmas came early this year for the Boksburg SPCA staff members and animals following a generous gesture from an anonymous donor who recently revamped the animal clinic.

This comes after the clinic was no longer in a conducive condition to cater for the animals and staff at the society.

The long-time supporter and benefactor paid for the entire refurbishment of the clinic, which included replacing old kennels with new ones, installing tiles, a new sink, and plumbing.

He also supplied three solars LED security lights that now ensure the safety of the employees when dealing with emergencies at night.

Expressing gratitude, Boksburg SPCA manager Vicky Finnemore said: “The Boksburg SPCA committee and management cannot begin to express the overwhelming gratitude we have to the man who made our wish come true. He has made a massive improvement to our clinic facility for everyone to benefit from, for years to come.”

She highlighted that the SPCA cheer fund money which was supposed to be used for revamping the clinic will go towards the animal operation theatre and fixing some of the kennels.
