St Francis receives a welcome donation

These types of contributions mean a lot us as the amount of donations we receive significantly declined due to the lockdown

St Francis Care Centre would like to express its appreciation to the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) for making a contribution towards the centre.

The women’s league donated approximately eleven bags of nappies to the children at the care centre.

James Matli, fund-raiser for the centre, explained that they were urgently in need of nappies and made an appeal on social media.

“We requested baby nappies on our Facebook page and CWL saw our plea and sponsored nappies to the centre. We are deeply grateful for their kind and generous spirit. These types of contributions mean a lot us as the amount of donations we receive significantly declined due to the lockdown,” Matli said.

Anybody that would like to support the centre by making a financial contribution or donating necessities may contact James on 011 894 4151.
