Pharmacy donates to old age homes

The items donated to our elderly citizens included hundreds of bottles of hand sanitser, face masks and pairs of gloves.

Centrum Pharmacy recently donated masks, gloves and hand sanitiser to Ward 32 Clr Marius de Vos to distribute at the Andries Scribante Haven and Alan Woodrow Park Retirement Village.

The pharmacy donated 500 bottles (100ml) of hand sanitser, 320 face masks and 10 boxes of gloves to Andries Scribante Haven and 250 bottles (100ml) of hand sanitisers, 160 face masks and five boxes of gloves to Alan Woodrow Park.

De Vos said it is important that the elderly have adequate protection, as they are vulnerable to Covid-19.
