Boksburg EMPD officer found dead
The 44-year-old Sebastian Groenwald worked as an EMPD officer at the Boksburg EMPD precinct.
The Reiger Park police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an EMPD officer whose body was discovered in a veld next to the ZCC Church on Elsburg Road in Ramaphosa at around 3pm, on April 2.
According to police spokesperson Capt Mavela Masondo, the dead body had bullet wounds in the upper body.
“The motive behind the killing is not yet known. No arrests have been made so far, but we are investigations a case of murder,” Masondo said.
Police are asking anyone with information on the murder to come forward.
