The Advertiser will remain operational during lockdown

At present, newspapers are classed as essential services during the lockdown.

With South Africa heading into a lockdown from this Friday, it should be noted that the Boksburg Advertiser will still be operational and serving the community.

So the Advertiser will be distributing your local paper during this time, while also continuing to provide all the necessary and vital news on our website and social media.

However, take note, with the national shutdown, all Caxton satellites offices, including Boksburg operations in 20 Sydney Road, Ravenswood, will be closed to the public as the public are urged to stay indoors.

The public may contact the Advertiser journalists through email or phone. We will continue to provide professional service, endeavouring to provide accurate news in this time of a national crisis.

Journalists and their contact details are as follows:

  • Fanie Mthupha (faniem@caxton.co.za, 087 285 6457)
  • Sabelo Mashego (sabelom@caxton.co.za, 087 285 6459)
