Do you have an eye for a bargain?
If so, then you should visit the Hospice East Rand charity shop situated on the corner of Constantia Road and Kingfisher Avenue.
These shops are significant as they bring in a large percentage of the funds that helps the organisation take care of its patients.
The shop in Freeway Park opened its doors in February last year.
Claudette du Plessis, manager of the shop, explained that there are clothing, ornaments, books, electrical items and other bargains available at the store.
“People are also welcome to support the shop by donating their unwanted goods. No contribution is too small,” the manager explained.
She highlighted that they rely on donations.
“We had a successful first year and would like to thank everybody who supported us. It is much appreciated,” she pointed out.
