Police confirmed that suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money during a cross-pavement armed robbery at the K90 shopping Centre in North Rand road on February 19.
National police spokesperson Col Brenda Muridili said it is alleged that a guard, who had left the security vehicle with the money bag was approached by three armed suspects.
“The guard was told to lie down. The suspects fled the scene with the money in a white Ford Fiesta,” said Muridili.
She added that no injuries have been reported.
